The Role
You will be teaching Maths from year 7 to 11. Your lessons must target the individual needs of each student. You will deploy teaching assistants appropriately and support their professional development. You will also provide ongoing support to students who are on work placements.

Main responsibilities
-Planning and evaluating Maths lessons
-Marking student's work and providing feedback
-Prepare learning resources
-Deploy teaching assistants
-Feedback to senior leadership team and parents/carers

Essential Criteria

-Degree (Level 6)
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-Understand National Curriculum requirements at Key Stage 3 and 4 level

Desirable Criteria
-Additional SEND qualification(s)
-Prior experience teaching Maths
