Daily Rate: £83-95 per day (including holiday pay) for 6.5 hours of work

Five Education is working with mainstream primary and secondary schools in BS16 to look for teaching assistants to support students on a one-to-one basis. The students have a range of SEND such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs. All schools are easily accessible by public transport and car. Previous experience in supporting individuals with SEND is not essential but beneficial. The perfect candidate would be caring, patient, and resilient.

Main Responsibilities
Support students 1:1 by making the curriculum accessible and changing approaches to make learning fun
Always ensure the safety and well-being of students
Provide emotional and behavioural support to students, helping them to develop coping strategies and self-regulation skills
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and other staff members to address the individual needs of students
Encourage socialisation and good behaviour through positive reinforcement and praise

Essential Criteria
Have an interest in supporting children and young people
Right to work in the UK (not require sponsorship)
Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary
Able to work 5 days a week (term time only), 8:30-15:30
