Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time
Salary: £95 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school team. You will be working closely with children who have a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
- Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement learning strategies and EHCP targets
- Assist in creating a calm, structured and engaging learning environment
- Support pupils with their emotional regulation, social development, and independence
- Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and assessments
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN, in a school, nursery or care setting
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learners
- A willingness to learn and adapt to meet the needs of the pupils
Desirable:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of strategies such as PECS, Makaton, sensory regulation or TEACCH
- Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or complex needs
