Brief:
Five Education are working with a mainstream primary school in the Bristol area to find suitable staff to support pupils who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds and display challenging behaviour. This is a rewarding role for the right person as they will be developing a relationship based on trust with the students in order to help them achieve their potential.

Experience is not essential but beneficial. A perfect candidate would be passionate to learn, show initiative and organisational skills, resilience and flexibility.



Responsibilities and duties:
Guiding students - Supporting 1:1 and small groups of pupils
Build trusting and constructive relationships with pupils
Be a team player - Work with the school to ensure the best support and care
Encourage engagement and development in child’s learing
Set challenges to promote self-esteem and independence
Provide feedback to both teachers and pupils
Encourage socialisation and good behaviour through being patient and empathetic




Essential Criteria:
Commitment to personal professional development
Right to work in the UK (not requiring sponsorship)
Valid/relevant DBS
Two years covered by references
10 years (or nearest) work history

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fees or employers' NI. We are also proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
