The School
A primary school in Gloucestershire with an ASD resource base. Within the resource base, there is a lead teacher and specially trained teaching assistants. There is a low pupil-to-adult ratio, ensuring individual needs are met.

The school has good public transport links and a range of local amenities close by.

The Role
You will be working in the ASD resource base, supporting students' work towards individual developmental targets. Some of the work will be one-to-one and some will be with small groups.

Main Responsibilities
-Work under the guidance lead teacher
-Provide targeted support for students
-Assist with planning and resourcing
-Lead some whole class sessions when required

Essential Criteria
-HLTA qualification
-Excellent spoken and written English
-Ability to collaborate with others
-Previous experience working with children who have Autism

Desirable Criteria
-Access to a car and a valid driving license
-Previous experience working in a specialist setting
