The School
A small alternative provision in Gloucester, catering for Key Stage 3 students. The school provides education for students who are at risk of permanent exclusion. Small classes allow for targeted teaching that meets individual needs.

The Role
A full-time role, providing general classroom support and leading maths interventions. You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and a good understanding of how to support students' mental health needs.

Main responsibilities
-Work under the guidance of the manager
-Support students during lessons
-Lead some Maths lessons when requested
-Lead Maths interventions

Essential Criteria/Skills
-HLTA qualification
-Very good level of spoken and written English
-Strong behaviour management skills
-Strong Maths skills

Desirable Criteria
-Previous experience working with Key Stage 3 pupils
-Previous experience teaching Maths lessons
