Level 3 Nursery PractitionerLocation: Chippenham
Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)
Shift timings: 8am - 1pm / 1pm - 6pm / 8am - 6pm
Pay: £16 -18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
The Setting
We are working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery in Chippenham that provides high-quality early years education and care for children aged 0–5 years. The nursery follows the Reggio Emilia philosophy, offering child-led learning opportunities that stimulate creativity and independence. They offer a calm, stimulating environment with excellent indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Staff are dedicated to supporting children's development through play, exploration, and strong relationships.
The Role
We are looking for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the team and contribute to providing a warm, caring, and inclusive environment. You will be supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, promoting independence, and encouraging curiosity through engaging activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education who enjoys working as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
Main Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities based on children’s interests and development
Support children’s personal, social, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate observations and contribute to learning journals
Ensure the safety and welfare of all children at all times
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Support children with additional or special educational needs where required
Essential Criteria
Level 3 Early Years qualification
Experience working with children
Strong understanding of the EYFS
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A warm, nurturing, and professional approach
Desirable Criteria
Experience working in a nursery setting
Experience supporting children with SEND

Pay
Five Education operates a PAYE payroll – the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin charges or employer’s NI. We are also proud to be an accredited Living Wage employer. Please note, pay rate is illustrative and includes holiday pay.
Vetting
Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants will undergo checks including reference and TRA checks. If you do not have a non-voluntary enhanced DBS on the update service, a new DBS will need to be processed at a cost of £62.70, refunded after 20 days of work and once registered to the update service.
