Accountant (FTC)

Location – Cheshire
Salary – £45-55k

About the company:
A well-established manufacturing business, based in Cheshire, with an opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join in a 6-9 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities include:
• Budgeting & Departmental Analysis??
• Cashflow projection and analysis.?
• 12 Month rolling forecasting KPI reporting?
• Business performance reporting??
• Presenting the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.?
• Implementing a Power BI and dashboard reports.?
• Setting balance sheet reconciliation are up to date?
• Monthly P&L Analysis?
• Aduit support?
• Year-end accounts production and liaising with external accountants.?
• Ad hoc reporting?

Skills/Qualifications required:
• ACCA/CIMA qualified (or part qualified with experience)?
• Xero experience a bonus but not required
• Manufacturing industry experience a bonus but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous planning skills and a result orientated mindset.?
• Current and up to date experience with management accounts and financial accounts.?
• Solid experience in SME’s across sectors and strong financial reporting experience.?
• Experience in budget management and able to plan and report on variance analysis.?
• Able to produce detailed financial reports and present to the board and communicate company needs to the wider business and stakeholders.?
