Management Accountant

Location – Chorley
Salary – up to £45,000

About the company:
A well established and rapidly growing group of businesses based in Chorley. You’ll be working in a broad role, whilst reporting to a qualified accountant, focusing on the production of the management accounts alongside other responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:
• Creating monthly management accounts
• P+L reporting
• Monitoring finance emails
• Various kinds of analysis
• Some bookkeeping duties
• VAT Returns
• Creation of performance reports
• Identifying and actioning areas of business improvement
• Any other ad hoc tasks

Skills/Qualifications required:
• Previous management accounts experience either gained within industry or practice
• Self-starter, ambitious and keen to progress
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
• Strong Excel skills
