Credit Controller (Part Time)

Location – Stockton-on-Tees
Salary – £26,000 - £28,000


About the company:
A well-established professional services firm based near Stockton-on-Tees. Working within the finance team, you’ll be responsible for credit control and accounts receivable. This role is part time, open to a maximum of 3 days per week, with hours/days to suit.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and managing Debtors Accounts, providing monthly statements and maintaining accurate records of all correspondences.
• Liaising with Clients, providing breakdowns of invoices and resolving queries
• Producing quarterly Debt Reports for Management review
• Carrying out regular meetings with Fee Earners to discuss Debtor balances
• Posting Office credits for invoice receipts
• Assisting the Finance team and providing ad hoc support when needed

Skills/Qualifications required:
• Strong knowledge of credit control & receivable processes and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse data accurately
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
