Semi Senior Accountant

Location – Rochdale
Salary – £based on experience

About the company:
A broad accounts role within a well-established small accountancy practice, with a great working environment & team.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Preparing VAT returns, management accounts, and occasional bookkeeping support.
• Assisting with personal and business tax compliance.
• Explaining accounting matters clearly to small business owners.
• Working closely with partners and colleagues in a supportive, collaborative team.

Skills/Qualifications required:
• At least 2 years’ experience in a UK-based accountancy practice.
• Confidence preparing accounts and tax returns.
• aA genuine client-friendly approach, with the ability to explain things clearly.
• An interest in being part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.
