Description

Finance Manager

Location – Remote (candidates must be UK based)
Salary – £50,000

About the company:
A growing and fast-moving software company, with a newly created opportunity for a fully qualified accountant. You’ll be working in a broad, standalone, commercial role, reporting directly to the CEO, with full hands-on responsibility for financial management, alongside partnering with non-finance stakeholders and supporting decision making.

Responsibilities include:
• Own end-to-end management reporting and insight delivery, shaping how we track, understand, and act on financial performance
• Ensure data accuracy across costs, revenue, VAT, and payroll
• Manage cash flow tracking
• Own all bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in Xero
• Coordinate with external accountants and advisors
• Support year-end and audit preparation
• Support data-driven decision-making by improving the structure, clarity, and usability of finance dashboards or reports (e.g. in Power BI)
• Improve finance processes
• Partner with non-finance teams to align finance processes with business needs and improve tooling, workflows, or reporting


Skills/Qualifications required:
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant
• Experience working in a SaaS/Software/Tech/similar environment (desirable, but not required)
• At least 5 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role
• Track record of progression, with ambition to continue to progress
• Able to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently
• Proactive, results-driven self-starter
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical skills
